Golf lessons

The Society will again organise group lessons with a well-known local professional if demand is sufficient. The lessons are aimed at both beginner and experienced golfers.

As usual we will be seeking an ATLAS grant this year, a proportion of which will be used to subsidise the cost of the lessons.

There will be one set of lessons in the spring and another set in the autumn.

Autumn lessons

It is that time of year again when we look to organise another set of lessons to help us all prepare our game for the winter and ensure we can learn and build our swing.

We have arranged for another set of lessons with Stuart Robertson at Ufford Park, there will be 3 time slots with potential to increase to 4 if there is enough demand.

The first week will include a video lesson to provide some detailed analysis of any flaws in our game, the next 2 sessions will cover woods and irons as well as talking about course management and how to target practice over the winter months.

The sessions will be as follows:

Session 1 - Tuesday 21st October, Tuesday 28th October and Tuesday 4th November – between 4:30 and 5:30

Session 2 - Tuesday 21st October, Tuesday 28th October and Tuesday 4th November – between 5:30 and 6:30

Session 3 - Wednesday 22nd October, Wednesday 29th October and Wednesday 5th November – between 4:30 and 5:30

We have held the costs to £15 for all 3 sets of dates which I am sure you will agree is excellent value.
