The conditions for the first match of the season were less than ideal with heavy overcast cloud and a light downpour to greet all on the first tee.

However, the shower lasted only 15 minutes but the next obstacle was the course!! Although the fairways were lush, with plenty of growth (and preferred lies) the same could not be said of the greens which were bumpy and somewhat unpredictable.

Some excellent golf was played by both teams but I am pleased to report a win for BTRGS by 12 holes. Well done team!
