After a day of heavy showers it was with some trepidation that both teams assembled
at St Audrys ready for a late afternoon tee-off.
Lady luck was looking over us however, and the rain held off for the match,
indeed the sun even managed an appearance towards the close of play. The course
was in good condition and there was even the luxury of preferred lies even though
the fairways were 'nicely lush'. The greens as always were a little tricky -
but those of us who have played St Audrys in the past knew what to expect.
And now the results; BTRGS were defeated by 6 holes in a closely fought match
which the score sheet perhaps did not accurately reflect. Still, there is always
next year!
