BT v Willis, at Brett Vale 20/6/2002

As for the match, well the weather was superb this year, bright June sunshine throughout. We brought the match forward one month the ensure we all finished in the daylight, and we did. We were treated to a hot air balloon show as they passed over. And of course there was the golf. The course is getting better every year. The greens especially are very true although a bit slow. Stars of the day - Well its hard to pick any individual out as the whole team contributed this year. Once again the only concern was the late meal. Brett Vale are very stubborn about split tees and 16.30 is the earliest Willis and us can tee off. We have booked the course for next year but I am not sure if Willis will be able to field a team as their numbers are dwindling, which is a shame as they are a good bunch of chaps

And the result, BT won by five matches.
