This match was played on a perfect evening for golf - clear blue skies, warm
and barely a whisper of a breeze.
Course conditions, however, meant that accuracy was at a premium as both fairways
and rough had been allowed to grow somewhat, but the greens as always were fast
and tricky. BT fielded a full team of twelve players but unfortunately St Audry's
were at a slight disadvantage as only ten players turned up.
The result, playing 4BBB Hambro scoring, was a win for BT by two holes, the
score being BT + 15 holes and St Audry's +13 holes.
The match was followed by an excellent two course meal in the clubhouse on
this, the 30th Anniversary of the match first being played.
