This year's match against Lloyds Bank was held at Stowmarket GC on Friday 7th
May in what started as glorious conditions but rapidly deteriorated as the day
progressed meaning that those who were late out in the morning got wet before
lunchtime and everyone got soaked in the afternoon!
My thanks go to Gareth from Lloyds who does most of the organising for this
event and special thanks go to Jeff Smith (who doesn't work for BT but stepped
in to allow us to field a full team against Lloyds).
The match was played in a good spirit and we managed to grind out a very good
result - especially considering that I was playing for the first time since
injuring my wrist and managed to hit my first drive all of 2 inches!
Results for the day were as follows:

Therefore BT regained the Stowmarket shield - lets hope next year it can be
retained for the first time!
My thanks to all the team, here's hoping for better weather next year.
