BT v Ex-BT, 20/7/2004

Firstly, I would like to thank all who attended this year. I hope you all enjoyed the evening.

This year's venue for the BT vs. XBT match was Woodbridge Golf Club and is the 9th year this match has been played. I'd like to say I planned the day to coincide with a nice warm dry evening, after all the rain we've been having, but I can't. However, the course, as always, played well, with soft green fairways. Hopefully, the summer weather will improve soon! This is an event which is always enjoyable to organize and play in, with plenty of lighthearted humor. And, as expected they gave us a closely fought match, with the last pairing as always deciding the outcome of the match. The result was a draw, with three matches won and lost for both sides.

Once again, many thanks to all the participants who supported this event and I look forward to seeing you all in future events.
