BT v ex-BT

Date: 20 August 2007 Venue: Woodbridge Golf Club Format: 4BBB Match Play

This years BT vs. ex-BT match was again held at Woodbridge Golf Club. The course was in excellent condition, with receptive and true greens, medium run on the fairways and very punishing gorse and heather. The weather could have been better, with drizzle of rain for long periods.

After a bit of a hold-up at the start, the teams were on their way. Judging from the feedback in the club-house after the match, it was clear that some excellent golf was played and that everyone had enjoyed their matches. As the teams returned to the clubhouse there was great excitement as to who would take home the win in this honourable match. At the end of the day, the BT team proved too strong and won 4.5 versus 1.5.

After the golf we all enjoyed a drink together in the clubhouse, where memories of old matches were discussed.
