Match ReportBT v Ex-BTThe match was held at Woodbridge G.C. on the 19th August 99. We were promised a course in top condition and were not disappointed. The hospitality shown by Woodbridge G.C. was excellent, with a slight flexing of the rules, allowing us to partake of their food menu in the casual bar. In particular, a special thanks goes to the chef, who stayed on preparing the food. Many members requested to play in this match, making the selection process difficult. But, a team of eight was selected. The course was good, the weather was perfect, the team played well, but, we were unsuccessful this time, losing by 4 holes. Well done to George and Iain for a good score. However, the main purpose of the day was to have an enjoyable evening of golf and socialising, in this respect we won.
